Well it's not really a recipe, but I discovered a most delicious preparation using 3 ingredients...sirdarskol is going to laugh at me with his Barista training. haha

1. Start with a standard "house" style coffee
2. add 2 tsp sugar
3. spray in some whipped cream, 1-2 tbs
4. sprinkle with cinamon and mix it all up.

mmmmm, tasty.

It's actually not all that different from a few different existing coffee creations. It's fairly close to con pana, which is espresso and whipped cream (some people garnish with cinnamon.)

If you like that, you should try a Thai coffee (or Vietnamese coffee.) Traditionally, it's a latte flavored with sweetened condensed milk (a tablespoon or two in a 10 oz latte). I've made a Thai au lait, which is 50/50 steamed milk/brewed coffee, flavored with a couple tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk, dusted with cinnamon... It's dessert with a caffeine kick.

Jeez... Now I've made myself want a Thai coffee. I'm going to pack on a couple of pounds tomorrow at work.

Baristas can be pretty good at suggesting a drink based on your basic tastes (I used to go into coffee shops and say that I wanted something sweet, with a little espresso and a lot of milk).

I gave up caffiene ages ago but you guys are making me crave.....
Once in a blue moon in the winter I have a coffee with some baileys or whatever is suggested.

I've read that a small amount of instant coffee in a homemade barbecue sauce on steak or chicken is absolutely fabulous....
