Shipping fish?

Does anyone have any suggestions for shipping small tropical fish, like corydoras?

So far, what I've heard is something about getting styrofoam to insulate the box and putting the fish in one of those fish bags like what you get from the pet shops.

What do I need to know?

as long as your shipping to warm areas you should be good, be careful though it still gets chilly (61 or so) at night here in PA. You can also get these little tablet things that put oxygen in the bag, or special bags that let oxygen in. If at all possible get the fastest shipping.

Okay, thanks a bunch. Where can I find the tablets that put oxygen in the bag or bags that let air in?

Try aquabid. You can get shipping supplies there.

You can get the bag buddies(tablets that put oxygen in the bag ) at your LFS.
It's best to bag fish one fish to a bag,and double bag. If you don't have enough fish to fill the box pack the bags very well with news paper to keep the bags from moving around. Using a styrofoam box will help protect them from rapid temperature fluctuations.
Ship with the fastest method possible.
