I've done a small amount of hand embroidering, and my wife is an excellent seamstress, but neither of us has done any machine embroidering.

I have no idea how old you are....yikes, that sounded bad (!!!) in my community all the older people (seniors and older) will have nothing to do with the embroidery I do because to them it is "cheating" - well, that's why it's called "machine" embroidery. I sell a lot of what I do and they totally turn their noses up at it. Kinda funny.
Wish I could do seamstressing, I can't find the patience.

I'm a bit over thirty. I only call it cheating because it was funny. I do tend to do things in a more traditional way in cases like this, but I don't begrudge anyone who does it the efficient way.
