So after chatting with a couple of the best enablers on the forum last night, I went to the LFS to spend my store credit. Unable to control the urge I got a new betta boy and a new angel for my 75 gallon. They are both super cute and are doing great.

My angel is only about the size of a quarter and looks so tiny next to my other angels. He is all black and I named him Spooky. As soon as I let him out of his bag, he swam up to one of the bigger angels and scared the living daylights out of her! She shot towards the other side of the tank and started shaking, poor thing. Other than that, everyone is getting along great

My betta is a metalic blue plakat betta with a black stripe from his nose down his spine. He was only $5.99! Right now I have him temporarily in a 1.5 gallon tank, but his tank will be upgraded soon. He still needs a name, so if anyone has suggestions I would love to hear them. He is very docile and mellow.

Oh and hubby didn't get mad about the extra tank, so that's a plus

Sorry, I'm not good with choosing names for fish. When I named my Bettas, I named my first one Charlie and my second one George. I'm not very creative.

Thanks Shawnie Hubby likes him and thinks he's really cute. I don't know what's with him lately.....he woke me up this morning and took me to 3 fish stores! Not that he isn't usually a sweetie pie, but the LFS is deffinetly not his favorite place to go. He got me a new 10 gallon which I am hopefully going to stock with some guppies from dino and some cherry shrimp. Just two weeks ago he was making me promise no more tanks

Thanks Beeker Spooky is very bold despite his size and is doing great with the bigger girls. I am not great at choosing fish names either, which is why I need the help, lol.

Great pics and great buys! The fact that you have store credit would indicate some 'self enabling' I think. It's that voice in your head!
As for hubby, he's given up on you - he's trying a different tack, or building you up for something (only us males know these things!)
