All the flowers are blooming and all the yard work is fun to me!! (except spreading mulch hahah) and ive done a ton of work here since moving in 2 years ago..(the boyfriends bachelor days are over!) I took some pics when I started all this outdoor work..and as a pic queen, I like the before and afters..sometimes you forget how much work you have done until you go back and look at the before's !! share some of your outdoor pics if you feel comfy doing so please!!!

heres some of my before's during, and after's

Looks BEAUTIFUL Shawnie! Lots of hard work but I'm sure it's a labor of love as well.

Shawnie it looks great!
With all the rain, I finally got out and cleared the garden in the front of the house. It's tiring but rewarding, isn't it?
I haven't gotten anything planted yet, got kinda busy.

Shawnie your yard looks great! Your house is so cute I wish I had a yard to landscape, but for now I just have to settle for my potted plants on my patio. I love this time of year too. Flowers are blooming and everything starts to look so gorgeous

I have some pics! I can't say the flowers are mine though... they're from Temple Square in SLC. If you haven't been there in the spring, you need to go! It's so gorgeous!

Looks awesome Shawnie!

For some reason Chicago seems to be in some sort of "4th dimension arctic circle"... The only things that have bloomed for me are my bulbs... nothing else wants to come out.

I love the garden up the side of the driveway... and the rock trims. Looks fantastic. what is the flowering plants you have in between the evergreen there? Love your last photo of the whole yard... you have caught a part of my most favorite spring bush.. the Lilac.
Its amazing what a before and after job you did there. And that is a lot of hard work for sure!
lol... on your last photo of the ride on the mower.. whos that going into the net and disturbing the game? hehehe... your younger daughter didnt look too happy about it.. hahaha...

That is a priority purchase...a must have! Allows for more quality time. My way to have quality time was to get rid of the lawn - in its place I have my pond.

Oh yes... azaleas .. gorgeous and popping in color now. I have a few tiny bushes myself that i planted last fall. Not sure how they will do, but showing some nice red petals now.
Yep... the best smelling flower IMO too. I just love lilacs... here they are almost past but you can still find a few bunches around...
Too bad they just dont have a long bloom time.
