| Another bad day story!
I droped my puter on the floor!!! Broke the dang(being nice with the language here flokes) harddrive I took the drive out and it rattles I brought it into a puter fixer store and it's 50.00 an hr, and about 90.00 to replace the drive and since I was using a free copy of Vista I'll prob have to buy a new one. There goes my fish buy for so long I don't even want to think about it.....
My brackish is showing signs of that UGLY rusty red algea , the nitrites are through the roof. I got my order of plants, about a pound of the things (all the same plant) and my snails are all smaller then a pea.
I brought a bunch of the plants to the LFS and most of the snails I feed to the puffer.
On the up side, the plants look wonderful in my 10 and 26. I should be getting my new order of fishes by Saturday. Thank God I bought em when I did or else I'd be sitting here with a beautifully planted cycled 10g empty.
That's my day so how is everyone elses?? |

| Can you not just buy the hard drive and install yourself? You took it out and it goes back in the same way. I have changed modems, added memory, stuff like that and I am not mechanically inclined by the way. The last time I had to have any work done on my computer the motherboard had died and paying to fix that was really painful. |

| Well, how about my day? I was confirmed bipolar yesterday so today I'm trying to wrap my bipolar head around it.

Beth | Well welcome to my world dear. Please don't panic it is controllable with meds mine has been for about 20 years now. So see when I say I am nuts I kinda mean it in my own joking way. Some people really need to do some research on this subject before they judge. I don't think you ever really completely wrap your head around it you just learn to deal with things a bit differently than other people. Don't give up on the meds either because sometimes it takes a while to get the right combo. Hang in there your fish hobby will help alot. |

| Did i read in another post that your 43? im 44. Nice that you got dx'ed so much earlier in life. Ive been on lexapro for 10 years or so, it's obviously not cuttin it.
As far as people judging, they dont need to judge before or after they research (my opinion, judging doesnt need be in the equation).
I have all sorts of paraphanellia to read, have had since this past weekend and I have yet to look at it, it's sitting upside down in a corner of the kitchen that I now sit.

Beth | Yes you read correctly I will be 43 in July. It took a while to get my meds right and then sometimes you have to change for one reason or another. I agree on the judging part but you know how that goes. There is a lot of good info out there. Just PM me and I can send you some good websites that will make you feel a lot better. Don'cha just feel better kinda with having a name now I know I did even though I just did not tell some people because of the way they judge everything without knowing what it really is or ever having to deal with it themselves. Hang in there you will do fine...if I can handle it anybody can. |

| Sure, PM some decent websites. I will save the PM, Im still not ready to read about it. I only reason I ending up printing what I did is because I wanted my SO to be prepared and have a clue what's going on. Beth |

| Hey! This was supposed to be about meeeee! hehe. I've been on Lamictal for bipolar type 2 for over 3yrs now. That and menopause just about sent me over da cliff...remember that the meds wont always seem to be working...on those days I have given myself permission to jump in bed, pull the covers over my head and ride it out. Oh and dont ever and I mean ever.....FORGET THE ICECREAM!!! |

| Sorry about your computer troubles. I haven't been around myself much either lately, because my own computer (which is only 6 months old) decided not to boot up yesterday. All was perfectly fine with it, it's been running like a top; but when I went to turn it on yesterday after the latest vista update, it didn't recognize the hard drive. Yay... |

| LOL MizRamzi on post #9. Sorry to hear about everyone's bad days. I heard someone say "you don't want to take those, that's what they give crazy people". Well, duhhhhhhhh
LOL Sometimes if we don't laugh and joke about our own problems then the alternative is to sit around and cry about it making matters even worse. Live, learn and take your medicines. My other half will tell me to take a pill sometimes. |

Hubby knows a little about the internal workings of them and I can install some minor things but if that fails it is off to the computer shop we go. I hope you got yours fixed without having to use your fish money!
Oh and on the crazy people meds go to crazymeds.com it'll give you a laugh on some of the meds and make you think twice about taking some of the others. People rate them on there. Be forewarned the language is not monitored on that site!! |

| I don't feel hijacked at all. Ya'll got me off my woes which was a good thing.
I got my new shipment of fishes today. Sir Lotsoffish from Aquabid out did himself with me. Not only did I get my original order: 6 frucata Rainbows, 4 trap door snails, and 6 red crystal shrimp he added 8 Endlers and 2 extra snails!!! All alive and doing wonderfully!! Plus he threw in some food for the shrimp and all the babies everyone's gonna have. I went to the LFS bought a few more plants, a very nice piece of dw with java moss already growing on it and it's looking wonderful. As soon as my puter is fixed ya'll be getting some pic's.
I order a 320gig hard drive off a ebay for 69.00. Beats the puter store for sure. They wanted 90.00 for a 120. Even more wonderful is that they can retrieve all the info from my old hd.
My mind is at peace. |

Congrats on the new shipment...I have seen some of his listings and wondered how his critters were but he seems to do a good bit of business on there so he must be doing something right.
Good deal on the hard drive and glad they could save your info. |
