I have MTS bad! I've got 2 other tanks I wanna set up and I'v GOT NO WHERE TO PUT THEM
I'm frustrated because we have a room downstairs that's not being used for anything but a set of drums that aint being used. I wanna tell my partner to tank em down but I don't wanna hurt her feelings. I've been *hinting* about how much I would love to have my very own tank room but I don't think she's catching on . I keep surfing the web and finding new fishes that I want bad!
I'm just so bumed out, frustrated, anxious. This is the time where having MTS is an actual addiction. I'm going through withdrawals!!!

or.....you could do what i do, just set the tanks up and either she'll have a cow or not. once the tanks are set up, not too much she can do is there? all she can do is complain.
my approach wont work for everyone, i understand but it works for me.

I would just ask if you could make it a Fish Room. If she says no just start setting up tanks everywhere else..lol...She'll eventually want all the tanks out of all the rooms...Worked for me.

what i wrote up there is exactly what i did. just set up the 55 in the bathroom (only place i could find) and then a few weeks later the 10 appeared one afternoon on the kitchen counter. not a word was spoken about it. the 20 i want is going to go on another kitchen counter opposite the 10. all i need to do is find the darn 20 that i want and remove many cookbooks for the space i need.
of course i can only accomplish all this when he's not home.

If the drums are not being used and just gathering dust...pack 'em up and move 'em out! Tada...room for a fish tank or two or three. (I hope the house is in your name LOL)

Maybe if you set tanks up both of you can enjoy the room. You can look at your tanks and she can play the drums

I'm hyperventilating here!!! I talked to her and she's she's gonna tank down the !!! I'm so freaking excited!!! Oh nooooo! What am I gonna put in em? I got a 46 hex, a 29 and an 8g biocube, plus a couple of 10 breeder tanks for my new Endlers!!!
I also found some Shell Dwellers I wanna have. Their so cool!!
I'm gonna rest now all this excitement is getting to me....

My daughter just brought me a 15g with a hood from Goodwill and she got it for 5.00. Now I'm off to AquaBid to look for those lil Shell Dwellers I want. Yahooooooooo!!!

I wanna cry!! I was so excited about my new fish room. I awoke from a dream this morning that was horrid. Big ugly fish were eating all my fish and I wanted to move the big ugly ones but I had no where to put them and it dawned on me that my new fish room doesn't have an *easy access water supply*. I can't have a fish room and do water changes weekly via the bucket brigade.

It's time to add on a 1/2 bath. LOL Good luck. I'm sure you'll find a way to over come this small obstacle.

That is so exciting about your fish room! Why don't get a python for your water changes. Mine is 50 feet long and it easily reaches every tank in the house. They are a little pricey, but well worth it IMO

I'm thinking I'm thinking...I just got done building my first stand for my 8g biocube and plan on building one for my fish room too. A big one! There's gotta be a way around this.
