Puffer was injured due to rookie mistake!

I need a little guidance from one of you pro's. I recently moved my GSP into a 30g brackish tank. He is still a little young to go full SW. After moving him I checked to make sure he was alright a few times then went to bed for the night. I woke up to find my puffer gone and quickly realized he had been sucked into the filter intake... I know dumb*** forgot to put an end on it but I figured he was strong enough to avoid it. Anyway, HE DIDNT DIE, can you believe it? I dumped the filter contents into the tank (after removing the media) and he plopped out and swam off. Only problem is he has no *** left. His skin is rolled back pretty bad but he's eating and living now going on day 2 since the Sucking Incident. Can anyone tell me what, if anything, I should do to help his wounds heal properly?

Stress Coat, Garlic Guard are both good products to use on an injured fish.
