I'd like to say I have no intention of doing this - but I must be thinking about it if I'm asking about it:
Do you all make a habit of or once in awhile, swap your fish around from tank to tank, naturally only if the conditions were the same between tanks and each tank could take the amount of fish change??
What are the drawbacks of this? Stress? What else? Just been something I was thinking about.

Unless I'm upgrading a tank I usually don't. Simply b/c it's possibly for one tank to have some kind of bug that the other hasn't been exposed to. However it you mix tools and stuff then I don't see an issue.

im always switching them around LOL ...the only tank I do not, is the african cichlids ....otherwise, im moving nawty kids and good kids etc ...of course sensitive fish like angels, or cories etc shouldnt be moved..they stress enough as it is..but ive moved my convicts, live bearers, bettas, sa cichlids...etc...
