Well, I have officially discovered my new love: fish! And I think my fish (and inverts) deserve better than that tiny 10 gallon tank and with my b-day comin up tomorrow, i have decided to use my money to buy a 35 gallon tank. I found a really nice hexagon shaped tank. It has a wood finish and cabinets. The price is 199.99, it sounds like a good deal to me but I want other people's opinion. If im not getting a good deal, please inform me where i can get a better one (online of course, im not traveling out of state lol.)

I think it's a fair price. Does it come with a filter, heater hood and lights? Is is new or used?

I would say that's high..But I've gotten really good deals so I might not be the best judge of something like this.

one concern about hex tanks is that they tend to be more tall then long. and while this isn't a big deal for some fish (angels prefer tanks like this), many fish would prefer a more horizontal surface to all them more swimming room (such and rainbows)
the tank itself doesn't sound like a bad deal though.

check the craigslist around your area..I just got a 75 gal full setup with oak stand for $200 so to me, your deal is a bit high...

yeah the tank comes with a cover, and lights, no filter but its new, not used. I'm seeing good deals on craigslist.com thanks everyone
