Craiglist 180ga acrylic tank and stand $200 inspection

I have 3 days before I go to inspect and probubly buy this aquarium. I have no experience with acrylic tanks and would appreciate any advice on buyer beware issues when it comes to buying used or old large acrylic tanks? Do you see anything in the photo that alarms you? What to look for specific to acrylic problems? Aside from the obvious benefits any owner issues meriting going back to glass? The tank excites me but I don't want to buy a big problem. If that haziness on the plastic is not dust and rather hard water stains, anyone have experience with stained or scratched acrylic tanks and their repair issues and recommendations? I asked pretty much allot of this from the contact person but she wouldn't answer them because she want to wait until her sister the owner returns on Sunday. So I'm trying to prepare myself before going up there this time.

yes, I agree with the above note....they do scratch easy and I am not sure how you polish or buff them out ....still is worth it if that is all it needs.

Ditto on the above. There are special scrubbing pads just for acrylic tanks. Other wise their pretty cool. Being seamless.

Thanks all. I guess Ill just have to show up there on Sunday after church and see what up as they are sticking with Sunday as the date they prefer I come down even though I offered to immediately buy it yesterday no questions asked. I'm hoping this just means that the want the owner (her sister) there on her day off. If they insist on a specific time then Ill know its most likely an auction sale to have buyers arrive simultaneously. If they acknowledge this then I will let then know I wont be participating.
As far as scratches, scuffs and most importantly cracks, Ill just have to look very carefully and be prepared to decide if I want to extra repair work.

I cant really get any info out of the seller but I have a feeling its just the tank and stand. Even so if its in good shape its at least worth a look. It might be like new it might be a messed up. But if I do go to take a look I wont buy something unless it is a great deal and the size I want. The owners aren't sure of the size but according to the dimensions I think its 180ga. Time is on my side and there are more where that came from. What I really want is a 245-260 acrylic on the cheap so I can hook up direct to outside drainage to the sprinkler system and an outside pool filter with a powerful direct drive pump. All total ready to stock I dont want to spend more then $400
