Holy pink, lol. Ok you've just given me another one.

You might have MTS if..

... you're not sure when you walk into your bedroom.. if you are really in the tank instead!

Hahahaha. Thanks MissMTS
The tank on the floor is supposed to be on a little chest of drawers that my brother is supposed to bring down to my room for me, instead of on top of some old textbooks....

You might have MTS if your dad has told you thousands of times that no, you can't turn all the walls into aquariums.

You might have MTS if you stop at the pet section in every store "just to see how much the aquariums cost."

You might have MTS if you spend hours figuring out where your next aquarium will go, even though your family has put a limit on aquariums. Or...had put a limit on aquariums, 'cause it looks like the number might go up to three soon.

You might have MTS if you have to step OVER aquariums to get into your bedroom....yeah...pretty sad. Fortunately we fixed that problem. :-)

or...

You might have MTS if you swap a 55 gal for a 30 gal and keep all the decorations and substrate the same and then hope that your GF's dad doesn't notice. <-this one actually works

or...

You've considered buying one of those inflatable pools at Wal-Mart to keep fish in. You know....the more I think about it, the more it sounds like a great idea.....

PFP not as bad as I thought but close. I bet you sleep like a baby with all that ambient noise and moisture in the air. I used to have a small 3g hex with a comet in it (he lasted 10 years!) and I became so spoiled from the air pump and filter noise that I had to find a machine to imitate the sound. I should have just got another tank, I know I know.

Looks very tropical and bright pink!

Or kick an empty one everytime you walk in the front door.

Think about it...overstocking....finding the right size fish....all that goes out the window.

...you've screached to a stop when you see an empty tank gleaming in the sun at a yard sale.

...LFS calls you when they have a question about stocking

...your agreeing with the majority of this thread

...you've driving more than an hour to just browse a LFS

...you've concidered buying a van because the tanks you like dont fit in your economy vehicle anymore

...you spend more time preparing fish food than your own

hahaha, pink i'm mad i never got pictures of my dorm room back when it was full of all my tanks!!! (plus the empty ones on the floor). water change day was always fun, i'm glad my roommate likes to shower at 7:30AM before im ever close to consciousness.

you know you have MTS if you have tanks in the kitchen, in your bedroom, at a friends house, in your car, in your garage, in a friends garage, and STILL get excited over good deals on craigslist.

You might have MTS if you can't do any chores in the morning because you have to feed your fish, then you have to feed your other fish, then your other fish...

You might have MTS if you save your money up for an aquarium you know you can't get anyway.

i can be very persuasive and by the time she got home i had already filled it with water, gotten it running, and put my girls in there, so she didn't really have much of a choice!

You had a roommate sharing a room with you and your 8 tanks? Holy cow she must have had a lot of patience! I can see her now, calling home: "Mom, why couldn't I have gotten a normal roommate?" Your dorm room must have been pretty big...mine was like the size of a closet and I would have been lucky to fit a betta tank on the desk, lol.

agabr123...Craigslist is gonna be the death of me. My hubby, Mr. Fixit loves to work on tanks and comes home with them all the time so of course I have to fill them with fish. And everybody on here has just added to my obsession....I see the pretty ones so and so has and I gotta have one of those.

You know you have MTS if you have a real hard time getting your work done because you cannot stay off of FishLore long enough to type your jobs (medical transcriptionist).

haha, no. i call her my roommate but i was actually in a suite with four single rooms, so technically she's my suitemate, but she's on my side of the suite and we share a bathroom so she's listed as my roommate. she's so funny though, she loves my boy ares and talks to him in funny accents. it's pretty hilarious.

that's awesome! i wish i had someone that would fix up all the crappy tanks i've bought that need resealing and a good cleaning, removing hard water deposits, etc. and he could help finish building my stand that is sitting half-done in my garage as well

Not yet.
When I spoke to them on the phone they said "Its about 50-64 Gallons, but my brother says its over 100...its really huge!!!"

I arrive there and clearly its about 35gallons...oh well, bought it anyways. $40 for tank/hood/stand.

Took a god awful lot of cleaning the hard water stains and removing the neon pink gravel, but its looking darn good now!

Not only do I have MTS, but its contagious!

After setting up my new tank in the office, my officemate sent me an email saying they just picked up a 45gal on Freecycle that they are going to put in the office as well!
