| eep. Sounds really awful. There are people out there to be careful of, but I kinda agree that most people are trusting and don't intend harm or fear.
However, I sold a car once and only put the sign on my car, parked about a 1/2 block away, and had my phone number only as a contact. I ended up with a creep that called me, threatening me, and when I told him to bug off, he said he knew where I lived and would be over in seconds. When he hung up, I *69'd him (to get his number) and the dumb dude didn't block his number. I called the police and they ended up phoning him and the calls stopped. I knew he couldn't know exactly where I lived, and that helped to calm my own fears, but it was scary none-the-less. |
