lol sorry no pics. I'm talking early 1970's here when these tanks were made.

I had aquariums in the 70’s but they were all glass aquariums sealed with silicone.

I had tanks in early 70's also...one was all glass with no frame...one was glass with metal frame and black tar like sealant.

I remember 1972 my 25 gallon was all glass with stainless steel frame, stainless steel hood and light housing and one of the first hang filters called a dynaflow I think it was gravity fed and impeller pumped out. If you lost siphon cause your filter was too dirty it would stop and rattle like crazy.
They hadn't discovered the cycle back then so it never gave us any problems lol.

You're right Gunner about the cycle. It was just buy a tank, fill it up and throw the fish in and hope for the best.
