Refugium

Hi Yall im new to this forum but new to fish. I have a 55 gal Cichid tank with 2 tire track eels that iv had for 2 yrs and a 20 gallon for my fry. But i just got a 75 gallon tank with stand for $50(I Know what a steal) It does not leak and its drilled in the back. But what i was wonderin and contemplation about is should i take the fish and stuff out of my 55 and put it in their or make ita salt water, Im building a wet dry refugium for it.

Hi welcome to Fish Lore
Hope you don't mind, I moved your question where it should get more attention.

I'm sure other members will have some in put.
Good luck with your tank

I don't know where to start really. I think the BIGGEST question is what YOU want to do? Starting a SW tank requires a good deal of frontloaded cash to spend, not something you can really pick up a few pieces as you go. Protein skimmer, good lighting, live rock, a few start corals, live sand possibly, maybe an RO unit? SW requires a fair bit of money and time to initially invest in. is that something you are willing to do?

if yes, then I think you have your answer
