Irrational temptations

Ever see something and just go "I want". I've gotten used to this sort of reaction more so since i've started fish keeping. However I stumbled across this today. and wouldn't you know I just realized that i've bee goggling Saltwater set-ups ect. since. I have really got to learn to control myself.
(This has been especially difficult since I found the second add here.)

Anyone else have a "gimme!" story?
(Yeah mine wasn't that spectacular but...)

*P.S. sorry about the PM Pink, you don't need to worry about it.*

Too late! lol
I don't mind
And you need to save that puffer

I want this guy and this one.
Also, I saw teensy dwarf puffers at the store the other day, and I will have one.
"They will be mine, oh yes, they will be mine" lol

I'm really tempted except I don't know if I'm ready for a SW tank.

your a great fish keeper, just do your research and don't rush things, patience is the key to successful SW-Set ups and it could be said about anything really lol.

True but the guy says that he needs to get rid of the fish ASAP so I don't know if I could get a saltwater established in that time period.

You don't have to go straight to SW. Just set up a high brackish tank, like 1.015 SG, and quarantine the puffer, slowly lowering SG over a period of a week or more until you're to the desired SG.

The puff in question is currently in full marine, I'm not sure how you'd bring him back down to brackish.

I'm doing the same thing... Kiwi is in full marine, and I'm going to put her in 1.014SG. Just do it gradually. Drip acclimation over a long period of time.
