Are there any other deviantartists here? I finally caved in and got one. There's so much great artwork on there it's nuts. Makes me feel like a horrible artist lol.

I don't have one (I'm not patient enough to actually finish anything I draw unless it's in art class for a grade) but I have several friends with them. I love looking at people's art!

Hey Pink that looks awesome. My wife does some painting but only when she's got the time. Good Job. You know who's paintings I like? MIchael Godard, I think he's awesome. There's another guy I saw some paintings in St. Augustine, Fl but I forgot his name. He does a lot of paintings on the beach and beachhouses but if you pay a lot of attetion to the paint you see shadows of people and ghost. Is awesome. I was in St. Augustine last summer with my wife and we stopped in this gallery and I started noticing this shadows on most of his paintings and then one of the girls that worked there she was amazed cuz she never noticed. Well I like your work. I like the cave and the piece of meat.

We all do that, it helps us improve. but there's also a line between being good at something and being great. A difference between being someone who draws, and being an artist. You are an artist, you have entered the realm of displaying your work and humbling us people who draw. There's no reason to deny your skill once you've crossed that line....you won't fool anybody.
