I just bought one on ebay for $45.00 plus I had to buy a travel charger. I am seeing a lot of negative reviews but I need to here some personal experiences. I gouhgt it cause I broke my VX8500 chocolate (rescuing comets from a pond that was being drained) and my vx9800 started going so I threw it at the wall and broke it. Now if no one has ever heard of this phone it is only for verizon wireless customers. You can submerge it in 1 meter of water for 30 min. drop it to the ground. It can survive temps of up to 140 F. Its perfect for a clutz like me.
