| I get a fish room!!
We were talking how it was kinda ridiculous that I have all these tanks all over the house, I was thinking it would end something like "Cesch you have to get rid of some of these tanks around here..Pick a few and get rid of the rest." But it as it ends up I'll be getting a fish room ..We are doing a complete remodel of our upstairs which is 3 bedrooms, bathroom and then the entryway and staircase and building a deck off 1 of the upstairs bedrooms. It will take a little while (I'm thinking 3 months) but when it's done that will free a couple of bedrooms up and I get 1 of them for my fish!!! I'm too excited..Now my brain is just spinning. |

| Lucky!!!
My 'fish room' is my bedroom... It's just me and my fish, with all my furniture squeezed inbetween, lol. |

| I here ya pink, though I'm slowly infiltrating the dining room upstairs
My room mates don't care as long as they don't need to take care of the tanks. |

| Nice score Wife thinks I'm nuts but after showing her pics of the EBJD's and some otehr fish she's slowly getting in to the 'fishroom' thing. Can't have one here, but soon as we get a larger house, I'll be earmarking a room for myself ! ;p
I envy you |

| lol right. I'm thinking that I'll try to get either an extra bedroom in my next place or somewhere where we have the whole basement. More room for the fish and me that way. |

| My husband has mentioned several times that I needed a "fishroom" he has talked about builiding it onto the back of the house behind the living room putting me a giant ultiliy sink for it. Then he mentioned a building for a fishhouse. But the room would be much easier w/ the kids. I am slowly wanting to "tempt" him to go ahead with it. He was saying he would build shelves all through the room for tanks. Then he has mentioned infilitrating the kids room (once I get them out of mine lol) w/ shelves of tanks. I just don't think that will work.
I hope you get your own fishroom, then you can put another giant tank in your living room and call it the "main display tank" lol. Still ending up w/ another tank. |

| Your fish room sounds like a awesome idea..If you were building it you could make it any way you wanted....I would love a utility sink in this room...It's right off the bathroom so it won't be too hard but 1 in the actual room would be much better..Right know it's my 20 month olds room. I was thinking the closet in there would be handy so I can store all my stuff, unused gravel, extra tanks, filters, heaters, decor, foods, test kits, Right now it's all in a rubber-maid tote and I hate how it's set up...It will be nice to have a well organized room with everything just the way I want it...I guess it's good motivation for me to get upstairs and start working..lol..Lots to be done. |

| Sounds like a great plan! You can even put a lock on the closet door (mommy w/ 3 year old thoughts). I have to keep the testing equipment/chemicals in the cabinet above the stove to keep my 3 year old away from them.
I love the utility sink, I have took over ours in the laundry room w/ my fish stuff. So thats where the utility sink came in, so I could give the laundry room one up (so I don't use the sink in the kitchen for clothes when we have to hand wash them lol).
We are in the process of moving around bedrooms, we are going to take one and put a giant table in it, my husband is wanting to start working on model trains. I have to let him have some space in the house for himself. Im not motivated for that, but I told him sooner he works on it, the sooner he can build his table. |
