angelfish fry

Ok I am at my whits end here. I have a mated pair of marble angels in a 55 gal tank with other fish they have chosen a fake aquarium plant leaf as their slate. They took care of business on new years day three days later all eggs are gone. on lower decore leaf we have four pointy type cloudy white things... then 1/6/09 they start the process over. most eggs are gone but still many clear eggs left. they are in a community tank with one placaustamus, 6 other angels, and two small cats. I have them seperated with a divider. the tank is kept at 80 lights always on. i am not sure if i have babies from the first spawn. as soon as i seen them spawning i treated with the blue antifungal stuff. i cannot move the fry due to second degree burns on my hand. do i need to shut the filter system down? if anyone can offer me any help feel free to email me. also need to know if clear eggs are fertile or not.

I'm pretty sure that the non-clear eggs have fungus or something and aren't going to survive, and the angelfish will eat those.. The clear ones should be kept unless the angel makes a mistake and eats those too

These are angelfish eggs. The white ones are no good( maybe not fertilized, maybe fungused) The clear looking ones are good eggs If left in the community tank the parents or other fish will most likely eat them.

I don't know unless you could put plastic bags over your hands

well that was not successful... the pair ate all of the eggs...so I went and bought a 5 gal tank, and got it set up and treated so that i can take the eggs. I also removed that plant leaving them just the slate. So with luck they will use the slate for the next spawning. I have heater established temp of 80, used aquasafe with BioExtract, and EasyBalance with Nitraban. I have the blue treatment ready for when I move eggs. I did not put anything aside from the heater and small round airstones. The tank came with a filter system, do I set that up or not?

awwwwwww that stinks about the eggs....im going through my 4th batch now and im leaving mom n dad in there until they get to the wiggler stage...they never ate them until I lost power and couldnt keep the lights on so we will see this round...my first two spawns they ate the eggs so it took a few tries...id set up the filter but use sponges over the intake ....do you have pics of your angels? I just love them!

thank you sooo very much.. I love my angelfish they are so funny I walk past their tank they all bolt to the top expecting to be fed lol. When I have to make adjustments within the tank they all swarm around brushing against my arms. We are hoping that we have a pair of blacks pair off.. I have one Oscar in a 10g three male betas each in their own 2 gallon tanks and several beautiful fantailed guppiesin a 10g tank..Then we also have a box turtle in 30g tank, a yellow gecho and a salamander each in their own 10g tank. Then comes the three beagles lol. I am an avid animal lover. Even with vet bills no way would i ever give them up. Its a wonderful learning experience for our three children and us too.
