I saw a picture of an axolotl on here recently, and it was so different from anything I've ever seen that I went and did some more research. They look really cool and don't seem too hard to keep. Does anyone on here have an axolotl? Are they worth it?

I don't have an axolotl but am in the process of researching them because i absolutely would love to have one! the site caudata.org has a lot of information on them, as well as forums that you can use, i found it extremely helpful. it also has links to other sites with lots of useful info!

i have 2 and there worth getting if you have a big enough tank and are prepared to hand feed them

There's an 8inch Albino one at the LFS. Not really my thing and I don't really have room for another big tank but my 3yr old son is FASCINATED by it. He calls it the white monster and wants to go and see it everyday!
