(Laptop not fish related)

I consider myself relativly computer competant... however I've just come across a problem on my laptop that I've never had before. I recieved BONES season 3 for christmas but I can't get the DVD's to play on any program on my laptop. I think it's b/c they're copyright protected but I could be wrong. Does anybody have any idea's how to get them to work? I've tried every program that I have and it's a no go.

THANKS IN ADVANCE ANYONE AND EVERYONE!!!!

p.s. (yes it's a fish forum but this is the general section )

i hate vlc...bleh. Maybe my install was just goobered, i had to load every play list separately every time I opened the application.

Windows media player is by far my favorite. It's not, contrary to popular belief, inferior just because it's M$. Rhythmbox is a close second...but it's linux only.

I'm not a big fan of VLC for music but it's nice for movies.
I think my new fav. music player would have to be songbird
