nope, it's usually under about 2 km of rock/soil/cities/people, stuff like that...we use well logs mostly, rock samples if we can get them, make cross sections, maps, recreate what was where, when, use that to interpret what 'might' be where we don't have any data yet (I look at a very long tubular piece of rock and see how the different pieces stack on top of each other, then put that together with nearby, similar stuff and come up with something like, At this point in time there was a beach here...! and old beaches often contain oil and gas!) We then convince management to give us a LOT of money bc we're right! then wait...and wait...and wait some more (this takes up to a year) then spend 36-48 hours on call while the hole is drilled and hope for the best in the end!

I've been doing this for just over two years now, and I LOVE it!

I am an office manager for a construction management company and I train dogs on the side. I'm also a mom, dad, housekeeper, laundress, cook, and errand-runner.

If I didn't have my daughter, my birds, my dogs, my fish, and my guinea pig, my life would stink

I'm a stay at home Mother. I work for two little treasures ages 2 and 3. I'm CEO of my company and so far it runs like a well oiled engine. . They are not teenagers yet either..lol..Honestly my main goal is to have two wonderful girls that have self respect and at the same time can respect others. I want them to be well grounded and have a good head on their shoulders when I'm not around. Compassion is high on our list too. I pride myself on being a good mommy and I hope that I pass some of these things along to my children. I'm so very proud of them already and I will always be proud of them regardless.

I work part time for a municipality, waste management. We're responsible for removing household & construction debris from the island we live on. If jobs were plentiful and or I had health insurance on my own I wouldn't be there.

I own a dance studio. My husband is our main instructor (I stopped teaching a year ago), and I am the business manager. Basically, anything that needs to be done, I do it! My favorite part of my job is designing all of the costumes for our competition teams and shows I am also a part time student and I am working towards a degree in Mass Media.

Interesting stuff!

I specifically asked what people do with those 8 hours of their day because I know we have a lot of students and figured we also had stay at home moms and dads, too. I wouldn't want to imply that any of that isn't "work" and I want to know about it all! Hence the wide open nature of the query.

My husband tells me that I am an 80 year old in a 24 year old's body. Doesn't that make me sounds like fun Just because I like fish, and knitting, and crafts, and reading.... well okay maybe I am a little bit old at heart. So that means when I grow up I'm gonna be... even older
