Hi Everyone, My goldfish seem to be healthy but they have places on their sides that look like missing scales. The spots are the size of their scales and are light colored. Do they have a disease? I did have a Chinese Algae eater in the tank with them but moved him when I caught him trying to latch onto the Goldfish. I thought the spots were from his attacks but he hasn't been in the tank for 7 months. Is this something I need to worry about? Thank you for your help. Suzy

Sounds like the goldie is missing some scales. They can get knocked off in their daily shenanigans but the algae eater is probably the culprit. Any pics?
