This was sold to me as a common pleco. I didn't think it was a common at the store and now that it's home I'm not sure it's a pleco. It's mouth looks more like a normal catfish mouth rather than a pleco's mouth. These were the best pics i could get for now. Please help ID this guy so I know what I have. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

I thought that at first but whatever I have has some kind of "armor" on it that reminds me of a lizard's skin. If it helps at all, it has white dots on it's belly, and pretty much all over it for that matter.

It is a spotted rapheal...thanks It's a cool fish. He is making himself right at home. I should have bought a few more while they were priced at $2.99 as common plecos. lol
