Ok... yesterday I met at the train station with my friend who, according to me had a t-shirt saying: "I Eat Algae" ... after a good 10 minutes I actually read it, and it says: "I Eat Glue"

Now... where did the "Algae" come from?


Or this other one... couple months ago I was buying a jersey online for my boyfriend... and I couldn't find it in google... the name of the team I had been googling for around 3 minutes was "River Plate"... when I stopped to look why it wouldn't come up... I figured I was typing "River Platy"

I was doing my homework for my nutrition class, and I saw something about like 30g of proteins in your diet, or something like that (this class isn't high on my priority list). My first thought was, "30 gallons of proteins? That's crazy!". But yeah, they meant 30 grams...

My daughter belongs to a site where you can 'buy' virtual stuff for your virtual person.
They had a goldfish in a bowl for 'sale'. I wrote to them and told them it was a cruel way to house a gold fish and advised them how many gallons a goldfish should actually have. lol

Any piece of furniture we buy from now on has to at least to be able to hold one betta tank up to 10gs...so when I am out looking at tables or shelves. In my mind, oh that's no good for a tank, not strong enough. We actually are using a tank stand as an end table right now...no tank on it, yet.
Oh and my cats are called bad fishies or cute fish on a regular basis.

I went to a quiz last night and one of the answers (can't remember the question) was pink floyd except i put pink floyd puffer.

Um, lets see... Everyone at work asks me "how are the fish?" knowing that they are a part of my life like my dog/cats. When they have any fish questions I am the one they come to.
I am so obsessed w/ fish that I cannot walk into a store that sells tatooed or painted fish w/o almost getting kicked out where I run my mouth.

My husband and I get into arugments about how many tanks are all through the house.
Not to mention the python that he trips over twice a week, and complains where I take over the kitchen sink.

Yeah i have that problem at work, its getting to the point people will come in and have a meal just so i can serve them and help them with their fish problems (and sell the fry, so it works out good)

I have had people ask about buying fish from me, then they found out they needed a large sized tank for the cichlids and they aren't into the fish as much as me I guess, or don't have the room in their houses... They all think they can put a cichlid in a 10g tank, when I say nope, you need at least a 55g they give me a look like omg! you have like 9 tanks at home (of coarse my tanks aren't all 55g)

Yep, when I go to clean the toads water bowl I consider it another "water change", never really think that about the cats litter pan.. of coarse the cats pan is in my husbands bathroom though I don't fool w/ it lol...

My mom gets a kick out of me when I come over to her house and the first thing I do is check out her tanks and say um, you need to do this to this one and that to that one.. Or if I see eggs in the angelfish tank I will let her know, she never notices. Its never go see my grandmother in her room first thing (now I feel bad)
