Watersprite wall?

Okay well I was going to build a moss wall for my betta tank, but then I got to thinking and I have an overabundace of watersprite (the broad leaf kind) I suddenly got the idea for a water sprite wall. What do you think can it be done?

I see no problem other than it will need a lot of trimming as the plants will orient themselves with the light.
So, the plant will grow out of the wall, then turn 90 degrees toward the light.
