Mine...mine...it's all mine!

At feeding time today, two little guppy fry shot up out of the crypts at the bottom of the tank to each grab a single food crisp and run off with it. They looked like they were running off with cookies sticking out of their mouths, the crisps were so big in comparison to their heads. It was really funny.
Hopefully the crisps will soften a bit before they manage to swallow them. I'd hate for them to gorge themselves to death.

I have two baby mollies that do the same thing with blood worms. I don't know how they do it? But they gobble it up or try before my adult mollie shows up. Those crisps do soften pretty fast.
I have red-eye tetra's that like to grab at the algae wafers I drop in for the bottom feeders. They grab it and "run" like they're playing ultimate frisbee. They actually chase each other. When one drops it the other grabs it as its falling. Its so funny to watch, I actually find myself giggling. : )

that's so cute! I've noticed that when I give my bettas the crisps it's absolutely adorable to watch them parade around with it sticking out of their mouths.

Lol, today i had 8 discus seperated in groups of 4 in one tank. The eggcrate was held up by sponge filters on both sides. I feed them beefheart and then go get me lunch, when i walk back in the room, i have 6 fish on one side, 1 coming through the middle and 1 on the other side. Greedy pigs.
