Thanks for sharing it SDS, that's really something.
It's a shame neither survived. It would have been interesting to see a follow up in a few years to see if their theories on congenital disorders and disease hold true.

Yeah.
Particularly because sharks seem immune/resistant to many diseases that have genetic predisposition (like cancer), it would be interesting to see how they responded to this.

Thanks for sharing that article SDS! really puzzling and unexpected phenomenae in complex organisms. Another "proof" that real life exceeds fiction.

almost as cool as when amphibians switch genders to balance the population. haha.

well...maybe it's cooler. I thought only simple animals (like hydras and worms) were capable of asexual reproduction. Nature is awesome.
