Just thought id say

My pot idea didnt turn out too good

I forgot that becasue the plant has to be near the surface of the gravel in the pot the 40 cm of the amazon swords growth will excced my water level

OOPS

the tank is just over a foot high and the pot is about 3 or 4 inches high!

Yep. Most, if not all, swords will send out flower shoots and pretty flowers will bloom. Emersed plants are the coolest.
