Let us all have a moment of silence for the recent, and tragic loss of my neighbor's goldfish, "Freddy". They had Freddy for about 3 months, he was a gift to the new arrival in the form of a baby. Some time between 5pm-8pm on Tuesday, while they were having dinner, the baby accidentally knock Freddy's bowl onto the tile covered ground, breaking the fish bowl instantly. Thinking he might be knocked out, the family put the fish in a water glass with pure water and waited for about an hour and a half...the fish never came to...Let us now mourn the loss of a good responsibility teacher, and a true friend, Freddy.

He was a pretty little goldfish!

Maybe if they want to replace him, you can explain that a BOWL is really not a great life for a goldfish, a nice little filtered tank and an explanation of water conditioner would be more suitable.

I hope they try to learn more and get a cute little FREDDY II

Just goes to show you, keep goldfish in adequate spaces and children can't knock the tank off onto the tile floor.

8 pound one galon fish bowl vs. 210 pound thirty gallon tank....

They do want to replace him. Sadly, it seems Brady (The baby) wants him to reincarnate the fish. I'm gonna talk to them about a filtered & aerated tank Some time tomorrow.

Awwww poor Freddy, he was a pretty fish.

I've known people whose goldfish reincarnated a couple times.
