Remember folks that this is a contest, and the others in the contest may get upset if you cheat, and we wouldn't want little Teighan to get ousted simply because one of the other parents found us admitting that we voted a billion times.

Anyway, I voted, and it went up to 5.9.

And there's something screwy with this contest. There are a lot of people messing with it. In the ten or so kids I went through, only two were beating Teighan out. One was a picture of a kid in a little yuppy outfit sitting in a luxury car. I have a personal reaction against that, but I can at least see how he might be seen as cute. The other is this little girl with this awful look on her face just screaming.
Then the two lowest are these cute little kids just sleeping. That's just wrong.

Honestly tho ...this reminds me of the baby contests they used to have years ago with the poster of baby pix...each one with a slot and you voted with pennies...1 vote a penny...nickle was 5 votes...dime was 10...dollar was 100 and so on.

Wish I could see the other kids pix without having to vote for each one...I don't like some of them and would rather not vote for them at all than give them a real low vote.

I like those contests. Yes, those with more money can, of course, alter the votes, but the purpose is usually to raise money for some cause or another. This is the same type of thing but without the noble cause.

Some people are absolutely crazy about their children and will kick and bite and scream to get their kid an absolutely useless prize. I've heard about parents fighting over things like whose kid should get the "best sportsmanship" award.
