| Those seem to be good medication. However the ones I checked come in tablets or capsules, which worries me a bit, not for the molecule per se (e.g. antibiotic/antifungal agents) but the way of administration.
As far as I know, most effective fish medication (besides parenteral administration: IntraVenous-IntraMuscular, rarely used in ornamental fish), come in water soluble or suspended slow release formulations (e.g. powder, liquids), not tablets or capsules.
I would add to Shawnies list (from my experience):
Mardel's Maracyn and Maracyn-Two. Those two are broad spectrum gramm positive and gramm negative antibiotics, respectively. If you suspect your fish illness is due to bacterial infection and have no means to run tests (I don't know any lab down here that does), administer both twelve hours apart as needed (usually five to seven days).
Methylene Blue: for healing superficial injuries in adult fish; prevents fungus to spread through eggs and/or newborn fish, must be administered in a hospital tank since it will wipe out all beneficial bacteria, use 1 drop per gallon, although if you add more it will not harm the fish.
There are some dangerous meds out there (e.g. Betafix). Whenever possible it would be wise to consult with a licensed veterinarian.
Thanks for sharing
