My Killifish is dead =(

just as the title says..

One night he was swimming around the bottom of the tank vertically with his face down in the gravel, like he was looking for something, maybe eggs? I know that they are year long fish, but I was still upset, he was my most colorful fish, and showed the most growth by FAR in comparison to all of my other fish.

I'll find a photo and post it.

It was the cat! Look how guilty he looks lol!

Just kidding, I'm sorry about your fishy =(
Your profile says that you have a .5 level of nitrite?? If that is correct, then it could be the reason he died, as nitrite is toxic just like ammonia.

Edit : Nitrate levels above 20 can also cause stress with fish and may eventually cause them to die

I'm sorry you lost little fish is gone.

If your aqaurium info is correct, I agree with clinton, you should do some water changes. If it's not, it'll help if you update it.

Your cat's adorable.
