My betta died this morning. The other one that was shipped to me and given to my brothers girlfriend died recently as well so I think it was from old age and nothing wrong with the tank.

He was just laying on the bottom of the tank this morning. Still had all his color and looked like he was happy, even though everyone knows bettas have that mean face all the time haha, but was stiff as a board. He lived a happy life, I am pretty sure.

He let me pet him, as much as you can pet a fish. He ate from my hand and was just a good betta.

I plan on getting another one within the next few weeks to replace him.

Yes they do get under your skin. He had that mean face but was a sweet fish.
