I'm back and exhausted! My youngest daughter and I went camping for 4 days. We had loads of fun and a lot of laughs.
I did a nice water change in the tanks before we left.
I left written instructions for my husband on when to feed the fish and frog. When to turn the aquarium lights on and off. I measured out the food in little cups for each feeding.
This morning I hear my husband whispering to my betta....."don't tell her I gave you extra blood worms"
Looks like water changes are in store a pea treat and a day of fasting.
On the way home, I ran into Petco to get a filter for my little q tank.
I've never been in one before. I only had time to glance at the fish, but the tanks looked clean and the fish were active.
I passed the betta cups,
. I didn't have time to look, but from the couple I saw, they didn't look good.

The first is very inexpensive, but needed an air pump.
The second included the air pump.
I ended up buying this one for less.

I hope it works well, I'm going to put it in the 1.5 q tank with the frog.
Doesn't everyone go camping and come home with a filter?
