Aquabid usually has monthly shipment from Thailand to Ontario CA every month around the 20th roughly. You'd think that the sea 99 would be apart of the monthly shipment o the USA too.

well i contacted the transhipper finally, and she seems very nice, and is going to give me a call tomorrow to explain the while situation. She herself is not happy with it, writing " this is a big mess, and i wish i never got involved." She also said that the problem has nothing to do with her, but rather the seller. So once i hear the explanation tomorrow, i will be filing a complaint and requesting my money back. Any fellow fishlorians, people that i can trust, have any wild betta fry that they are selling?

Well, i am about to cancel my transaction, and file a complaint. The transhipper is really nice, and emailed me saying that she wasn't able to call today, but also said that she has two betta imbellis that she is selling because she just prefers the splendens. An added bonus, is that she is only forty minutes away, so shipping wont be necessary. So the only advice i can give is be weary of the seller the_sea99. Many people have had success with him even according to the transhipper, but unfortunately it did not work out for me.

Why is she going to to explain the situation tomorrow? Why not just explain it now?

She said that its such a complicated explanation that its just easier to do over the telephone. She is only the transhipper anyway. She is not the one obligated to explain the problem. I couldnt get the explanation out of the seller, so dont worry..i have sent an email to the seller explaining that five weeks is unacceptable, and i demand a full refund. And i have left a comment on aquabid. If the seller does not voluntarily refund my money, I will file a complaint with paypal.

I am sorry to hear about all of your problems with this seller. I bought three of my bettas from him about 4 months ago and the transaction was very easy. The only complaint that I had was that my bettas did not exactly resemble the bettas in the pictures. I still am not sure whether I got the fish I ordered, but I love my babies anyways  I will definetly not order from him again after hearing about your problems. I would definetly complain.

Yeah, i just received an email from him, after requesting a refund, and he said please wait they will be shipped on the ninth. If you need them sooner, I can send them to Linda in Denver, or Jennifer in Georgia. If it was that simple, why wasn't that done from day one!?! I declined, and told him this is his last chance to voluntarily refund my money. I mean i feel bad for him, because he has had very good feedback, with the exception of one person, and i understand mistakes happen, but i am afraid he has done too little too late.

UHHH. This is such a mess! I asked three times for a refund, and an explanation..but he ignored every request, so i opened a dispute on paypal. Then i get an email back from him, angry because he had good paypal feedback, and now i ruined it or something like that.

Allie thats only for Canadians kus we dont have that many bettas coming in. The USA should have more coming in so a shorter wate. I would try and get my money back... Who cares about him having bad pay pall your the customer and you have a right to your money.

Sorry to hear this transaction didn't work out for you. I am glad you have opened a dispute with Pay Pal. You waited a long time, were patient and polite. Enough is enough! It is time to get your money back and let everybody know (through feedback) about this terrible seller. I wish you to find beautiful Bettas from a reputable, honest seller next time.

Yea, I'll be sure to NEVER come close to that seller! They have no right to whine. You were more than patient and they respond with more delaying so you can't file a dispute. It wouldn't surprise me if they avoided past disputes by giving people lies until it was too late. Definitely 100% the seller's fault!
