I am torn on this issue. I completely understand that by buying dyed fish, you are supporting the practice.
However...
It's not the fault of those fish that they were dyed. They still deserve a good home. Heck, after going through what they have, they REALLY deserve a good home.
I didn't know about dyed fish when I stocked my tank in January of last year, and I took home two dyed tetras. I named the pink one Meg and the blue one Jack (yes, they were named after a certain band

). Sadly, Meg passed away earlier this year, but I still have Jack. I'm glad that I was able to give them a good home.
