Hi Everyone!
I have not been on the forum in almost a month! My life has been crazy, but I missed you all a lot! A lot has happened in my life, since I last talked to you all, but hopefully after next week, things will calm down a LOT.
Lets see, where do I start......My husband and I sold our car, and got a new one in order to lower our payments. It was a big hassle, but now our car payment is cut in half so it was certainly worth it. We had a Scion XB and now we have a Saturn Ion. My husband misses the scion, but the saturn is a much more economical car- especially with these insane gas prices. I always joke around and tell him to add the letters "s" and "c" to the front of the Ion and he can pretend that he still driving a scion

The only downside is that my husband can't drive stick, so now I have to teach him how to drive it, which is not fun because he gets frustrated easily. oh well.....
I also started getting really sick lately with what I thought was a really bad sinus infection and I was having serious athsma attacks. I found out that after three years, I had developed an allergy to my kitties. We had to give them away to a shelter which was heartbreaking to me. Hopefully they have found good homes. I am tempted to call and check up on them and see how they are doing, but I can't let myself do it because I just think it will be too hard. On the brighter side, our house is a lot cleaner though with no stinky litter boxes
After we gave the cats away, my husband decided to get a dog to cheer me up. We went down to this shelter and found the most adorable dog. He is one year old and is (at least we think) a cocker spaniel and wheaten terrier mix. He has long white curly hair that hangs like dreadlocks and he is absolutely adorable. We lucked out because he is already potty trained and he is very mellow and obedient. He can't stand it when he is not with us and we are really attached to him already. We had to get him shaved because his hair was so matted from when he was stray, but he still looks cute. I will try to post a pic of him later on so that you guys can see. My husband named him Jeffrey, which everyone thinks is a funny name, but it suits him perfectly.
I also started back to school last week after taking a few years off to focus on our business. It is wierd being back in the classroom, but I love it! I am taking a biology class this summer, which is hard when it is condensed into six weeks, but I sort of like the challange. I only have 4 more classes to take until I transfer to a 4 year university, so I am really excited.
We have our end of the year recital coming up next week and that takes all of my time and energy between printing programs, selling tickets, buying costumes, etc. But the week after that I have a whole week off work and I can't wait. It will be so nice to have a break.
I decided to sell a couple of my tanks to free up some more of my time, (but only a couple of the small ones). I kind of realized that until I can get some bigger tanks (when we buy a house), it is too much maintence to do water changes on 12 tanks each week, and a discus tank every other day. I still have 8 tanks though, so I still have MTS pretty badly

I converted one of my tanks to a tank for Lake Tanganyika cichlids last week and so far, it is going really well. I have a pair of white calvus, a julie, a lelupi, and two that I still need to identify.
Anyways, I hope that all of your fishies are still doing good. It is great to be back, and hopefully I can catch up on what has been happening with everyone else!
