I just love how doctors find a way to see you over the silliest things. I went to the doc the other day for my stomach medicine just a refill of zegerid (just like nexium but stronger). She did my normal bunch of bloodwork because I stay anemic... well of coarse it came back bad...as usuall...
So I went back today for "further" testing, now instead of the nurse just drawing blood, she had to "talk" to me about this, and wants me to come see her monday about the results when she gets them.
Then, she wants to do injections of iron and B12, great more dr bills! And thats only if the anemia is caused by lack of iron. I wonder since my husband and I work in the med feild if she can send this stuff home w/ me and let him give me the shots. I am so against the drive to the doc, wait, and have 2 kids w/ me.

This isn't counting the thyroid profile she is waiting on, that she gets monday... The good news my cholesterol was 110, down from 120... its always low.

vent vent vent.... I just want this all over, so I can feel like my old self! I have no energy for anything anymore!

Yea, I hate that! It's like taking your car in for an oil change and then having this done and that done and that done.. oh, what a shock.. they want you to come back for no good reason.. parasites!

If its not intravenous they should let you or someone else give you shots. If it is, isnt your hubby an EMT?? I have shot's that arn't intravenous they let me give them to myself.

Hes not an Emt hes a Critical care paramedic (he can actually do IVs, intubate, etc.... ) so if need be even if the shots were intravenous he could do them. Not to mention my Docs work w/ him too along w/ myself so they do trust him (they have told him to start an iv on me at home to keep me from going to the ER over a stomach bug)

Of coarse the last shot my husband gave me I swore would be the last one ever! It was decadron for pnemonia to help me breathe. (the ails of being a respiratory therapist we are exposed to every resp bug out there and usually catch some)
