Good morning friends...We live in Southern California where water and power rates are going through the roof.
Last year our power went out 11 times for several hours. We have a generator that we hook up in those cases.

Just curious...been trying to find out so I can cut other power sources. We run a Fluval FX5 filter.

I had a quick look on the net and found some specs on the Fluval FX5 filter - 48 watts, thats less than a light bulb.

Thanks for answering! That's great news. Guy that used to help w/tank{local FS}said it used quite a bit. I had checked our Fluval manuel but I guess I went right past it.
