My husbands feeling sorry now for the female kenyi... its actually sweet!
I am at work right now.. so he called me before bed for my feeding instructions... well he knew not to feed her in her new tank.. well his wallet, keys, and work stuff stays on the counter where I put her tank.... He called me just now saying your going to have to find a way to feed her, she looks pitiful! She was stareing at him when he was getting his stuff for work....
I told him I would try to get some flakes in her mouth by crushing them over top of her that she has managed it before.
And he says they are my fish.. this is a man that the night before last came home and spent a full hour in front of the mbuna tank watching the fish.... of coarse I told him the only reason he liked that tank was that it was like watching a kung fu action show... those fish are always up to something.
The male kenyi after he got our female holding has created an elaborate tunnel under the right side of the tank, I vaccumed the tank removed the rocks, and flattend his work.... he redone it and did an even more elaborate tunnel.... I said its the house of the kenyi king.... he won't let any other fish around the rocks either, but his territory shrunk at least the second time.. so the other fish have more space... my husband has got more pleasure out of this than anything
