So after my appt yesterday I stopped at petsmart looking for a glass cover that would work with my new compact fourecents. I was also looking for a 15 gallon tank so we could move her betta's into a slightly bigger tank and keep all 3 divided(we have fem's together right now). Couldnt find a 15 so I suggested to her when I got home that she get a 20 gallon long. That we she could keep the original 3 all divided and add a 4th. I had it all planned out she get's the tank and rock and I would order the filter, light/hood, and heater for it. Well she went and bought the tank and rock with no prob but my text to her to wait on the betta wasnt in time
So she comes home at ~530pm on what is effectively my sunday night(I work 10's fri-mon) and shows me her new betta and I tell her we rent ready for that yet.
Back to the store she goes for new heater and filter(which would havebeen cheaper online). Well we got the 10 cleaned out and the 20 setup, low and behold we dont have the right amount of dividers
Now we have 2 males 1 on each end and 2 fem's in the middle and no lighting with a peice of veniered particle board covering the tank until her hood gets here and I now have to convince her it's a good idea to move the dividers around and seperate the fem's. Needless to say we had quite the evening while trying to feed dogs and then us as well LOL. The Betta's are all doing well in thier new home so far although I'm a bit concerned about dominance with the 2 fem's, thinking we should add a 3rd fem instead and keep them together as now.
