color leeching

I have seen silk flowers in some pics of tanks on here so I decided to try it. Now my water looks to be a greenish yellow color. Should I take them out, should i change all of my water can I boil them and then put them back in. I know, I know, too many questions. I just thought I'd ask 'em all since I will ask eventually any way. Thanks!

If the silk plants were made for aquariums they shouldn't leech color. Regular silk plants will sometime leech the dye. Personally I would take them out and do a good sized water change.

Also, run some fresh AC in the filter for a few hours after a 50-75% water change. Then I'd repeat that daily for at least 2 more days.

Only use silk plants meant for aquariums - even boiling, etc. won't make other silk plants safe.
