how did we survive years ago without a microwave? the microwave changed my life. popcorn in less then 2 minutes..

I suppose computers and the net are also a big change. Man had i had the "information highway" when i was growing up.. I probably would still be at home in my parents bedroom LOL

I can't remember how to write a check because of online banking....I actually wish we could go back to the good old days when things were more personal..E-mails have replaced phone calls...And cell phones are like having a LoJack on your hiney!

I now have that unlimited text package with Verizon. Im a texting fool. and i dont know why when its so much more time consuming then just dialing and talking LOL..

Big +1 to that now I can find of all the mustang info I need , I could have used this info 20 years ago when I was wrenching in my dads garage, ofcourse money was an issue then too LOL.

Now a days.. i dread swim suit shopping always before it wasnt an issue.. I think it comes with that over 40 thing LOL

That may be true, but they didn't have those nasty little phones either. Constantly texting each other during dinner, or in the middle of the night planning their sneak out. When they do sneak out - the phone gps will have them founded out indeedy! =D

Nope.. my wife dreads it just as much... course she's still ****y about the c-section scar, so I listen to her like a good man should, then I go find a random pair of board shorts and call it a day

Barely anyone ever calls me but I still couldn't live without my cell phone..I have to look at it every two seconds....But I like myspace only because I am horrible with keeping in touch with people. Being in the army and having to move around a lot makes it hard but myspace has reunited me with a lot of people

myspace..facebook are 2 things i just never really figured out and got into. My sister gave me the "myspace for dummies" course and I guess I passed as i have a myspace page.. but i never check it.. I cant find my friends.. I dunno maybe that is just more for the younger crowd.

I crack myself up with the texting.. my eyes started to go with my age LOL and i cant hardly see the letters.. so i have them all set to my memory.. LOL i can pretty much text and never look at tthe phone.

Convenient when you have kids......

Me: Text me when you get there.
Them: Yes, mom

Them texting to Me: I'm here safe. (of course you can't see the rolling of the eyes, but you KNOW they're doing it).

Me texting to Them: Text me when you leave, love you!

Them texting to Me: Yes, mom, love you! (again, you can't see the rolling of the eyes, but you KNOW they're doing it again).

Instant messaging, I swear I talk to my daughter more now than before she left for college! Saves big time on phone bills.
Oh, and being able to call her computer and talk, it's great.

It's amazing how fast kids can text.

LOL they do have that "eye roll" thing down, dont they? I can remember doing that to MY mom back in the day. Thats what is so funny about my kid. he acts like he invented it.. he has no idea ive been there done that...

Ive seen the kids in the mall and their fingers FLY over the phone when texting. Im not fast.. but i get the job done LOL
