Bought it brand new at either wal-mart or petsmart maybe 8 months ago and the thing has already sprung a leak. Its a slow leak from the bottom and prossibly can be fixed. Im glad petsmart had them for under 10 bucks but still is no fun switching over. Hopefully i will only get a mini-cycle if anything. The filter was off for maybe 20mins and the gravel never dryed.

That stinks, but you should only have at most a mini-cycle, maybe not even that.

Yea, he'll be good. It sounds like you acted fast and won't lose any of the good bacteria.

Thanks for the support. I noticed this morning that it really was a leak and i had to go off to work and hope the towel i put down helped. I was just hoping it didnt get past the filter and have that go out the whole time i was at work. Hey at least i got to re-arrange his live plants. Heh got to look on the good side of things.
