is there any info on converting a already established fish only tank to a full blown live tank? Live rock, plants, etc....??

converting to a fowler tank is quite easy and will actually help to stabilize your existing water and add tons of bio filtration. adding live rock is not a problem and can pretty much go right in provided it has been cleaned and seasoned. your lfs should carry ready to use live rock, problem is the price. live rock is very very expensive when precleaned and seaoned to remove most marine pests and parasites. id price it up first before i made the choice. thats why most saltys[hehe] prefer to cure the live rock themselves.

You can cure the LR yourself. All you need to do is put into another tank or even large bucket or something. Water doesn't need to be heated but you do need to keep the water moving with a power head.

Once it is cured, just place it into your tank and you'll be good to go.
