hey guys,

i purchased some fish yesterday. they were doing very well last night swimming around and eating. but this morning i walked up to the fish tank and all the fish got so scared. they literrally banged into the glass and all of them starting hiding. i tried to feed them but some came out to eat and some still hides. but when i leave the room they all come out and swim very happy. what is going on? do they not like me? also, i'm not sure if the light has anything to do with it but yesterday i had the light on up until 11:30PM then i turned it off. this morning the light was also off but the whole room was light by the sunlight.

I think they just need to get used to you. My new fish were always skittish for a week or two. They weren't skittish if there were already other fish in the tank.
