how do you get your fish skills above your name to go up.

Post more. Don't worry about that though, people around here tend to listen to someone with a few quality posts more than someone with a lot of posts that consist of just smilies or who obviously doesn't know what they're talking about.

Fishlore has gotten so much busier in the last year and keeps growing so just enjoy yourself and you'll move up the fish ranks pretty quick.

Trust me, there's no cash prizes at the upper levels but it's such a great community here that you'll find lots of threads to participate in and have a good time with other fish keepers, learning about our great hobby.

I find I move up the ranks quite quickly. I do type very fast though, and I must confess spend a ton of time on here.

Its an animation/.gif. Someone on here made it for me sometime ago. I was thinking of changing the angel tho.
