Hi Everyone really new to this site and really new to having a fish tank. I got a few new fish yesterday after a month of neutralizing my tank. The lady at the Pet store gave me idea's on how to stock my tank. I believe she has no idea about fish at all. The names of the fish she gave me are not even the right fish{as I have looked at pictures on this site} I am trying to figure out what these yellowish orange ones I have are. I am not a good describer, other then saying they are yellowish Orange with there head being slightly darker and red red eyes. From what I have observed they seem to be very aggressive. Does anyone have any Idea's on what they are

well I believe they told me swordtail assorted? how do I post a picture of the fish?

Under your reply window there is a button that says "manage attachments" click that then a browse window will come up. click the browse button and choose the picture you want from your computer. Then click the upload button and then submit your post

Welcome to Fishlore. I don't think I've ever seen swordtails with red eyes. They may be cichlids? I'm not sure until the pics are posted.

You need to resize your picture. Go to www.picresize.com and click v 2.0. Upload the picture. Click resize by 75 percent. Then clock ok. Then download/save as when it shows up. Then you save it and try to upload it again. If it doesnt work then do the same thing except use the previous pic instead of the same one.
